GlobeWise Exports is operated by S A Enterprise. These terms apply when you use our website, request a quote, or ask us to arrange a booking for you. Please read them before you make a request. If you do not accept them, do not use our website or our services.
Our Role
GlobeWise Exports is a booking intermediary. We arrange hotel stays and car rental with independent suppliers. We are not a hotel, a transport operator or a car rental company, and we do not own, operate or control any of the properties, vehicles or services you book through us.
The travel service itself is provided by the hotel or car rental company, under that supplier's own terms and conditions. Those terms govern the stay, the journey or the rental. Our responsibility is to arrange the booking accurately, to pass on the information each party needs, and to help you deal with the supplier if something needs to change.
Eligibility
To make a booking you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. By making a request you confirm that this is the case.
If you book for other people, you confirm that you have their permission to give us their details, that you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf, and that you will pass on the confirmation, the supplier's terms and any change we notify to you.
Quotes & Reservations
A quote is an indication of price and availability at the moment we prepare it. Rates and availability held by suppliers change continuously, and a quote is not a reservation.
A reservation exists only when the supplier accepts it and we send you a written confirmation containing the booking reference. Until then, nothing is held for you, and we cannot be responsible for a rate or a room, seat or vehicle that is no longer available when you decide to proceed.
Pricing Transparency
Before you authorise payment we tell you the total amount payable to us and what it covers. Where a service fee applies to our work in arranging or servicing the booking, it is identified separately.
Some charges are collected by the supplier rather than by us. Where we are aware of them, we identify them before you confirm, but the supplier sets them and may change them.
- Local taxes, resort fees, city or tourism levies and similar charges collected at the property.
- Security deposits or holds taken by a car rental company against the payment card presented at pickup.
- Optional extras chosen at check-in or pickup, such as upgrades, additional drivers, child seats, fuel plans or parking.
- Charges that arise from use, such as tolls, fuel replacement, late return or damage assessed by the supplier.
Payment Authorisation
By providing payment details or approving a payment, you authorise the charge described to you at that time, and you confirm that you are the cardholder or account holder or have their permission to use the payment method.
Your booking is not held until the payment required to secure it has been authorised and, where required by the supplier, settled. If a payment is declined or reversed, the supplier may release the booking. Our Payment Policy sets out accepted methods, currency and timing.
Travel Documents
You are responsible for checking that the details on your confirmation are correct as soon as you receive it, and for telling us immediately if anything is wrong. Names must match the identification the traveller will present.
Take your confirmation and any voucher we send with you, and be ready to present the identification the supplier requires at check-in or pickup. Car rental companies additionally require a valid driving licence in the driver's name and, in most cases, a payment card in the same name.
Corrections requested after a booking is confirmed are treated as changes and are subject to the supplier's rules and charges. We cannot be responsible for a service that is refused because a document or detail did not match the booking.
Changes & Cancellations
Whether a booking can be changed or cancelled, by when, and at what cost is determined by the hotel or car rental company and by the specific rate or rental terms you selected. Those conditions are disclosed to you before the booking is confirmed and are repeated on your confirmation.
To change or cancel, contact us and we will act on your instruction with the supplier. Do not assume a booking has been changed until we confirm it in writing. Our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy explain the process and what money comes back.
Itinerary Changes by the Supplier
Suppliers sometimes change what was booked. A hotel may move a guest to a comparable property or a different room type; a car rental company may supply a different vehicle within the same category.
These decisions are the supplier's, not ours. When a supplier notifies us of a change, we pass it on to you promptly and help you decide what to do, including requesting an alternative or a refund where the supplier's terms allow one. We are not liable for the change itself or for costs that follow from it, such as onward arrangements booked elsewhere.
Limitation of Liability
Our obligation is to arrange your booking with reasonable care and skill and to represent the supplier's terms to you accurately. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, standards or performance of the hotel or car rental company, or for the condition of any property, vehicle or facility.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the service fee we charged you for arranging it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, severe weather, strikes, civil disturbance, government action, outages affecting supplier systems, or the failure of a supplier.
Communication Consent
By giving us your contact details you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry and your booking by email, telephone or messaging, using the details you provided. These are service messages: confirmations, changes, reminders and support.
If we also send you occasional non-essential messages, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link or by writing to support@globewiseexports.com. Opting out of those messages does not stop service messages about a live booking, which we must be able to send.
Website Use
You may use our website to learn about our services, to submit an enquiry and to manage a booking with us. You may not use it to submit false or fraudulent requests, to interfere with its operation, to attempt unauthorised access, or to extract content by automated means.
The text, layout, graphics and brand marks on this website belong to us or to our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. We may suspend access where use of the website breaches these terms.
Third-Party Links & Content
Our website may link to or display content from third parties, including supplier descriptions, photographs, maps and reviews. That material originates with the third party and may be incomplete or out of date.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their terms. A link is not an endorsement.
Governing Law
These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of a booking arranged by us are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
The state and federal courts located in California, USA have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute. Before starting proceedings, please contact us so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter directly.
Updates to These Terms
We may revise these terms as our services or the law change. The revision date on this page shows when they were last updated.
The version in force when your booking is confirmed is the version that applies to that booking. Continued use of our website after an update means you accept the current version for future requests.
